Meet your instructor:

Sheila del Bosque Fuentes is a Cuban flutist, composer, and educator known for blending classical, Latin, and contemporary influences. A Haynes Artist and Chair of the Jazz Committee for the National Flute Association, she is also a faculty member at Interlochen Center for the Arts. Rooted in classical tradition, her music seamlessly weaves contemporary and traditional Afro-Cuban elements with European and jazz ingredients. She has performed at major theaters and festivals in Cuba, South Korea, Germany, Amsterdam, India, Mexico, Panama, and US, inspiring musicians worldwide through her innovative approach to performance and education.
